XR Training lands OTA deal to build Amphibious Combat Vehicle Trainer for U.S. Marines with Talon Simulations
Led by XR Training, a consortium of small businesses including Talon Simulations, 302 Interactive, and Theory Studios in Orlando will work together to fulfill the Agreement, producing 81 simulators by the end of 2024. The companies will then be tasked with providing two-plus years of training and sustainment services.

VR TRAINING has received an award through the Consortium Management Group, Inc. on behalf of Consortium for Command, Control and Communication in Cyberspace (C5) for the first increment of a multi-phase Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) for a ground-breaking, cutting-edge vehicle simulator that will keep Marines safe to a team of companies led by VR TRAINING and includes 302 Interactive and Talon Simulations, LLC. The OTA calls for the creation, building and implementation of a mixed-reality based training module that prepares soldiers for real-world operation of the military’s new Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV).

Talon Simulations demonstrates new mixed reality capabilities for US Air Force
During a two day period, dozens of Air Force pilots and instructors had the opportunity to test two state-of-the-art training prototypes. This was all part of the Strikewerx Mixed Reality Air Refueling Training Challenge with the goal of accelerating the training of new pilots to accomplish mid-air refueling in the B-52 bomber.
